Heart Spade

This little spade will be the first tool you grab when it's time to divide up that large bed of perennials such as iris, day lily and agapanthus. Also, useful for setting out small plants. The 4-1/2 inch by 4-1/2 inch, pointed blade is sharpened all the way up both sides. The 24-inch handle lets you have a strong grip whether dividing or digging. The original design is from Holland. This heart spade is sometimes referred to as a perennial planter.
