Custom Pick and Shovel

This tool was made at the request of a customer in Puerto Rico creating holes to plant the plantain trees and then maintaining the soil around them. The pick is a standard pick length of 7" and the other end is slightly wider and longer than a mattock (5" wide x 8" long). To more easily fit replacement handles in the future and create a more cost effective tool, an off-the-shelf pick mattock was modified on the shovel side to achieve the dimensions necessary. With the welds and forging this is as strong as a tool forged from a single piece of metal.

The cost of the tool is $100 plus $38 for shipping.
