This forged metal trowel is custom designed from a single piece of 5160 spring steel and treated to maximize strength and durability. Quenched in oil and then cleaned and coated in a clear enamel, with on-going maintenance this tool should give a lifetime of service. No tool is unbreakable, but for any work that a trowel should be selected for (it's not meant to do the work of a pry bar or hammer or hatchet) this will be one of the sturdiest hand tools around.
This all steel, single-piece construction trowel is one to keep track of. Be warned, the edges are sharpened beyond those of a typical trowel and if maintained will make digging as easy as it can be.
