Compost Mulch Chopping Tool with Insert

For the dedicated composter whose scraps don't turn fast enough, we make this X-shaped compost chopping tool. Mounted on a long wooden handle, the 2 blades are 1/4 inch thick and 2 inches to 2 1/4 inches tall, sharpened, and cross in the center. The total width of the tool head is approximately the same diameter as a standard 5 gallon bucket. The action is lift and chop, lift and chop, and then dump. Tool comes with a round insert that can help distribute the weight across the bottom of the pail to reduced the likelihood of cracking the bottom.
