Here we have a standard flat tined rake for working in soils and loose rock. Each of the 12 tines has a slight cant or bend to add strength. We forge the shank into a small swan't neck shape to help open up the line of sight to the working end and weld the shank to the outside or front center of the rake head. This rake can be used for light cultivating and weeding as well, but it is not for leaf gathering or heavy thatching. The rake tines are slightly bent on the angle to a position that is just less than 90 degrees in relation to the handle. We customize rakes regularly and can add reinforcement to the shank and connect it to the outside edges of the rake (more like a bow rake) or rework the head into individually forged and welding tines...or anything else. There are additional costs for customization.
